Description
Journal documenting Olonzo David Merrill’s final missionary activities in Tonga, including preaching, testimony meetings, language work, farewell visits, and preparations for departure. The journal follows his travels through Samoa and across the Pacific aboard the S.S. Monowai to San Francisco, followed by his return to Utah, reunion with his wife and family, farming and household work, illness, Church meetings, and continued religious service. Later entries include baptisms, financial and travel records.
